AppCampus Award

Got an app idea? Get funded now!

AppCampus is a mobile accelerator program managed by Aalto University in Finland. This is a US $24 million joint investment between Microsoft and Nokia to foster mobile application development on Windows Phone and any other Nokia platform.

AppCampus awards funding to innovative, first-to-market ideas with a fresh approach to design elegance, superior quality, and performance. In addition, AppCampus also provides four weeks of training in Finland in mobile technology, design and usability, coaching, and marketing support to help turn your project into a real startup. Windows Phone Marketplace and Nokia Store offer local and global business opportunities to program participants via distribution to consumers around the world. We are seeking developers and entrepreneurs who have the ambition to be the next big thing in mobile.

All Imagine Cup worldwide finalist teams with a Windows Phone project are eligible to apply for this award. The winning team will be awarded €50,000 (split in 30% and 70% as described in the AppCampus award process) as well as airfare and housing accommodations to attend a four-week AppCampus training event in Finland. You'll be guided through incorporating your startup, polishing your project, and getting ready to publish. If you’ve got a great project that could be the next big thing on Windows Phone, AppCampus is ready for you!
