    Lines of code?

What's everyone, now that nearly everyone has submited their stuff, I was just wondering, who's code has the most lines in it? :-P

    Re: Lines of code?

I win by the greatest copy paste ever: 38000 lines of code cause I didn't know we could use herearchy with bots, so I didn't want to be creative and I made 60 different containers and 20 different collectors.

Normally I would have about 14000 lines.

    38k, wow...

My team only has about 3k lines, but that's mainly because we did it in like..a day or 2... we put things off, but I have total confidence in it, it's great :P

what hierarchy of bots are you talking about?

    Re: Lines of code?

Some friends of mine show me how you can for example do a class with some characteristics, and then another one that extends it being the real bot.

I did lots of interfaces and implemented them all in all the classes, so that took me a lot of lines :P.

Now I know I have to make one class implementing the interfaces and the other ones extending it and that should be it.

Bad luck I guess right ?. Everything works the same way, but its a mess lol.

9070 lines here, spread across 51 classes! Really wish I'd had the time to test them more thoroughly, it's pretty clean code but I know for a fact that bugs still exist, can only hope they don't make an appearance during round 2 - best of luck to everyone else as well (unless you're facing my strategy :P).

lol I thought 51 was a lot, I think our code had half as many last year. How many classes do most people have then? Are most of your classes for different kinds of bot, or other functionality? I didn't see the point in having more than 2 or 3 variants of a particular type of bot.

well... I have 56 different bots... but I have 3 times less code than you do.. of course most won't show themself... just depends on a couple different things

I am curious about Team Swirl.. I bet they have some super crazy code...
