This year, our proud national sponsor Intel will award each member of the three winning Canadian teams with one of the latest 2-in-1 touch-enabled PCs. In the past 10 years, Intel and the Intel Foundation have invested more than $1 billion, and Intel employees have donated close to 3 million volunteer hours, toward improving education in more than 60 countries.

Also, Canada’s top teams will be travelling to Microsoft headquarters in Seattle, Washington for the Imagine Cup World Finals, to compete for the coveted Imagine Cup trophy and $50,000 grand prize! Last year, University of Calgary’s Team Sano developed an interactive system to track and monitor people’s health indicators while they used computers. Team Sano advanced to the World Citizenship Competition, where they won the KFC Innovation Award, $10,000 and a development deal to produce their project for use in Russia.

Amazing ideas and innovations come from students just like you. Now it’s your turn.
