We are a group of passionate students from different backgrounds who came together to solve real-world disaster management challenges using technology. While we are still learning, we bring fresh ideas, energy, and dedication to building impactful solutions. - Android Developers: Working on a cross-platform mobile app using React Native (TypeScript) and Kotlin modules, with offline-first support for low-connectivity areas. - Backend Developers (JavaScript/TypeScript): Building a simple but scalable backend with Node.js, Express, and Supabase (PostgreSQL). - AI/ML Learners (Python): Exploring how to use machine learning for multilingual text classification, hazard detection, and emotion-based SOS alerts. - Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Enthusiasts: Learning and implementing smart contracts (Solidity, Polygon Mumbai Testnet) and WalletConnect for transparent donations. - UI/UX & Community Focused Members: Designing easy-to-use, multilingual interfaces and adding features like gamified drills to encourage community participation. Even though we are students, our combined skills in Android, Blockchain, Machine Learning, Python, JavaScript, and Cryptocurrency allow us to tackle both technical and community needs in disaster response. Together, we are building a student-driven disaster intelligence platform that empowers citizens, speeds up emergency response, and ensures transparency in donations and resource use.
