Hey, am I the only one from New Zealand? I doubt it but I'm not seeing any Kiwis!

How's it going, hyperdrive, I'm useless at VS2005. My preferred IDE and the one I started with was Dev-C++ which I still use, gcc the preferred compiler. MS is probably going to have my head for this, haha.

I'm going to have trouble trying C#, my attempt at Java failed miserably. I don't apply OO principles in my code, most of it is C++ in C style, no messy classes and huge source trees.

C++ in C style? Haha, you should really try and migrate away from that. Of course I don't mean it's bad or stupid or anything like that, but if you want to utilize the full power of C++, you'll have to get to love all the nested namespaces, templates, classes, and all the inheritance goodness that we lovingly call OO! It took me a long time to stop writing code in the procedural way and think about them more in the objective sense.
