  I've got a question about Round 1 Reply Contact   Round 1 Qualifying During Round 1, your Team must create and submit a photo essay of up to twelve (12) pictures that presents a compelling story relating directly to the eight (8) UN Millennium Goals, and is submitted as a single electronic file no more than 25 MB in size in the Microsoft PowerPoint format, or other standard photo essay display format. Each picture within the photo essay must meet the following requirements: Maximum longest dimension: 1024 pixels Picture file format: JPEG Color Space: sRGB   This is from the photography competition page. According to the paragraph above, our photo essay of Round 1 should be related to the eight (8) UN Millennium Goals only. Or should we also associate it with the theme of this year ("Imagine a world where technology helps solve the toughest problems facing us today.")?

Here you can find the Millenium goals, as Ionut mentioned there is no technology related, and you have to choose one of the 8. For the second one you can use any of those or your own definition of the "toughest problems facing us today" and of course, using technology to solve them. Imagine a world where technology helps solve the toughest problems facing us today In both cases the goal is to make you work in a photojournalism assignment. You will have to research, plan and shoot. L.
